The Project Portal, developed by the Student Affairs Council (SAC) at IIT Delhi, aims to streamline the application and selection process for research projects for both students and professors. This portal is designed to benefit both parties by making the process of finding and applying to research projects more efficient and convenient.

Faculty members/Professors can use the portal to post current or upcoming research opportunities. Students can then apply to these projects through the portal, rather than individually contacting professors or going through a lengthy and uncertain process of sending multiple emails. This system enables professors to easily review and shortlist students for their projects, based on their requirements.

Moreover, students can use the portal to find and apply to research projects (including DISA, SURA, BTPs & MTPs) that align with their interests and goals. The portal makes it easier for students to pursue research opportunities and explore careers in research, by showing them all the open project positions and finding the right match for their interests. It also saves students time and effort by eliminating the need to repeatedly contact professors or send multiple emails.

Thus, the Project Portal provides a valuable, comprehensive resource for both professors and students at IIT Delhi, bridging the application and selection process, making them smooth and hassle free.
